Our client, an immigrant medical specialist, was unfamiliar with investing in Australia. Munro referred him to a trusted alliance partner – a financial planner who could advise him. As part of his financial plan, there was a recommendation to invest in quality Sydney real estate. He had no experience in investing or purchasing property in Australia and as such relied heavily on the advocacy, experience and professional contacts provided by Munro as his buyers agent. Munro had to balance the client’s personal needs with the with his investment fundamentals to provide the best opportunity for him as both an investor and potentially for him to one day live in the same property. Munro focused on finding him an off-market property that had a unique point of difference, on the city’s eastern fringe. Munro inspected and videoed several potential properties and discussed them with his client so that he could shortlist the favourites. Within a few weeks Munro secured an amazing off-market warehouse conversion apartment in cosmopolitan Surry Hills.
