Aarti was a first home buyer. Her brief was a character unit with high ceiling, lots of natural light in an art deco block. She did not want ground floor and the outlook needed to be leafy with no windows looking out onto close by buildings. She had been looking for almost a year when she signed on with us. In that time, she hadn’t seen anything she liked. The brief was very specific and through my research I was concerned we may have to make some compromises as I hadn’t seen any properties recently that ticked all those boxes. She signed on only 10 days ago and then went overseas for a week. I viewed numerous properties for her but didn’t think anything would suit her until I inspected this unit in Coogee. Incredible outlook over trees from all windows and ocean glimpses, beautiful natural light with east and north facing aspect and big room sizes. I called her immediately and organised an inspection as soon as she returned on Monday morning. She absolutely loved the unit and we moved fast to secure it, I was prepared and had done all the due diligence including a pricing appraisal over the weekend so Monday was about securing the property for the best price whilst making sure we wouldn’t miss out on it. There was strong interest, including 3 other buyer’s agents and an offer already on the table by Monday afternoon. We strategically worked and managed to secure the property for a great price and exchanged on Tuesday morning. My client was over the moon with the result. We both knew that if she hadn’t bought this property that no other property would compare. The wonderful part of the timing of this was that her parents arrived from overseas on the Tuesday morning so were with us when we put the sold sign up in front of the property. It was a wonderful moment and I’m over the moon for my client.
