Geetha is a repeat purchaser who purchased a home on the North Shore from one of my colleagues and was looking for an investment in the Eastern Suburbs which may be used by her daughters who will return to Australia for their university studies I assisted Geetha with her finance by referring her to an expert in Expat lending who is based in Asia and once the approval was achieved we prepared a report showing our client what their budget would achieve in the Eastern Suburbs and began our search Solution: I started inspecting a number of properties that fitted the client’s brief in terms of location and property type. We created a Whatsapp group with Geetha and her husband so that they could experience the true feeling for the properties Geetha’s husband was due to come to Sydney for a business trip at the same time and we organise a day to take him around to familiarise him with the different locations and to inspect some suitable properties at the same time We created a short list of suitable properties with the first choice being a lovely 2 bedroom apartment in Paddington which was due to go to auction. I attended the auction and after agreeing on a price I bid for our client at auction. The property was passed in as it did not achieve the reserve and as the under bidder I was the first in line to negotiate post auction. After 8 hours of tough negotiations and sticking to budget we were able to secure this fine property below expectations
My husband and I were looking at buying a property in the eastern suburbs while located overseas and Munro was excellent in helping to navigate that experience seamlessly.
