BA Comments Christine and Malcolm wanted to buy with cash and not have the obligation of a mortgage. They didn’t know what area to purchase in initially and were hoping for a townhouse somewhere in Sydney’s western or southern suburb. Reality for them when I showed them some properties they could afford, was realising they didn’t want to be too far from their children, and they really liked the inner west, so they needed to compromise on their first expectations. The conveniences including recreational facilities and parks were important things they hoped for given Malcolm is retired. They weren’t always on the same page, but I was able to help them find an excellent compromise at Sydney Olympic Park where there are excellent facilities including indoor and outdoor swimming and a gym in a peaceful apartment block close to transport. The unit is modern with excellent appliances. The air flow and sunlight are perfect. There are two car spaces next to each other and near the lift, with a large 5m storage cage. The unit offers so much for their money compared to many other units I inspected, that they are delighted to be able to afford it and are now very happy to have a new home not far from their family.
