Neutral Bay is located approximately 4.5 kilometres north of the CBD in Sydney’s Lower North Shore in the local government area of North Sydney. Express busses from Neutral Bay take as little as six minutes to reach Wynyard Station in the CBD. There are also two ferry terminals in Neutral Bay if you prefer a more scenic route to the CBD via Circular Quay.

There is one public and one independent primary school in Neutral Bay; Neutral Bay Public School and Cameragal Montessori School respectively. There are also many reputable high schools nearby including Marist College North Shore, Monte Sant’ Angelo Mercy College, Wenona School and Sydney Church of England Grammar Schools (SHORE) in North Sydney, Loreto Kirribilli and St Aloysius College in Kirribilli and Redlands in Cremorne.
Neutral Bay offers multiple parks and reserves with beautiful Harbour views including Anderson Park and Kurraba Point Reserve. From Kurraba Point Reserve, Shellcove Road around to Cremorne Point for more jogging paths and fantastic views of the Harbour. There are several gyms and health clubs on offer in Neutral Bay including those open 24 hours such as Jetts. Neighbouring Neutral Bay is the extensive St Leonards Park as well as Cammeray Golf Club if that’s your preferred sport.
