Mona Vale is located 28 kilometres north from Sydney CBD Sydney’s Northern Beaches local government area of Pittwater Council. To the north is Newport, to the south Warriewood, to the west Bayview and to the east Pacific Ocean.
Family homes abound in Mona Vale. Many were established from the 1970s’ although there are plenty of modern contemporary homes being built to utilize the generous blocks of land on offer and ‘knock down’ opportunities. Within a close proximity is also the highly regarded Loquat Valley Anglican Primary School. Brookvale Tafe is only a 20 minute drive away and Narrabeen sports high is 10 minutes’ drive. There are also many day care centres for younger children.
Mona Vale Golf Course has a spectacular view over the ocean. Mona Vale Beach provides some great surfing breaks and also has a lap pool and children’s pool at its northern end, there is also a second beach to the north called The Basin. Fitness First has a club at Mona Vale along with several smaller gyms. Mona Vale also has a Rugby League Club, Soccer, Netball and Cricket clubs.
Access to still water for water activities including sailing, kayaking, and fishing is also on hand the beautiful neighbouring Pittwater.
Mona Vale offers a very desirable, relaxed beachside family orientated lifestyle. With its abundance of outdoor recreational areas, Mona Vale has become very desirable for growing families.
