Michael's Story

Southern Sydney Homebuyer

"..Delighted to finally have his first home.... "

Location: Southern Sydney

Price: $720,000

Buyer type: Homebuyer

Client comments:

When I was seeking to buy my first home I had no idea what areas where good to buy and what to look out for. Niki from Propertybuyer assisted us al l the way through. She recommended good areas within my price range, arranged to view properties that we wanted to have a look at. When it came time to choose a property her various contacts was instrumental in helping ease us through the process.

Thanks Niki! Thanks Propertybuyer!

buyers advocate comments:

Michael wanted to buy his first home around Campbelltown originally and take advantage of the First Home Buyer stamp duty exemption. He had been trying to get into the market for six months and wanted to spend no more than $800,000. He found it difficult to negotiate and missed out on a few deals before coming to me.  I inspected numerous properties and realised that Michael was looking for low maintenance and preferred to be closer to his parents in Padstow. He changed his area to Ingleburn and Minto and considered townhouses near the stations. After a few inspections together I was able to find and negotiate a freestanding brick Torrens title house on a small block of small block, which meant he would not have strata fees or much maintenance to do so he could focus on his work. Michael is delighted to finally have his first home and intends to live in it by himself and rent it in a year’s time.
